Monday, 2 November 2009 9:55 P GMT-08

Happy Turkey Day, Everyone!  We had a great Thanksgiving, perhaps one of the best we have had in a really long time.  By some miracle, the kids let us sleep in until 8 AM, so we all woke up feeling refreshed.  Then we lounged all morni

Peeps.  They are already playing Christmas music 24/7 on KOST 103.5.  I almost got into a car accident when I heard it!I was flipping stations and I heard "Last Christmas" by Wham!  I couldn't shield my ears in time!

I know what you are thinking.  Didn't she already do a Halloween recap?  The answer is no -- that was just an obsessively detailed description of the robot costume and preschool songfest.  The actual Halloween day and night is a wh

The story behind the robot costume

Sunday, 2 November 2008 5:46 P GMT-08
Back in August I asked Tate what he wanted to be for Halloween.  He immediately replied, "A robot!"  I waited a week and asked him again.   He still wanted to be a robot, so I started looking for costumes online.  T

This weekend we took our annual family photo for the Christmas card.  OMG, why do we do this to ourselves every year?  It's like it takes 364 days to forget about the pain of such an experience, yet on December 1st we conveniently

Okay, I have a lot of Halloween-related recapping to do, including Tate's Halloween Songfest at preschool and our weekend at Legoland's "Brick-or-Treat" extravaganza.  But for now, let me recap the actual Halloween night...Ever

Sign of a good time...

Well I'd say Halloween was a big hit with Tate this year.  It's 9:30 pm and we cannot get him to go to bed.  He keeps jumping out of bed to ask us, "Can I stay up all night for one minute?"

It's Valentine's Day...or night, really.  I am alone at home.  Jeremy is at school.  Tate went to bed early since he skipped his nap today -- he was too busy getting high on sugar at a Valentine's party with

Santa, baby

Tuesday, 13 December 2005 9:02 P GMT-08
Wanna see a really scary picture? Here I am on Santa's lap, circa 1989 (which would make me, what, 13 years old?).  What is perhaps scarier than a 13-year old still sitting on the lap of an old man in a costume, is the fact that I am apparent
